Who We Are
ATG Group was formed by Dr Mark McKinney in 2006 as ATG Services (Ireland) Ltd. From humble beginnings, it has achieved significant growth year on year and has seen the addition of ATG Environmental Services Ltd and Ashes to Gold (ATG Group’s charitable division) join the ATG Group of companies. The group has seen a significant increase in projects, staff, turnover and profits over the last 10 years.
In past years most projects were based in Northern Ireland, but now, through partnerships and acquisitions with companies throughout the UK and Ireland, ATG has found England, Scotland and Ireland are fast becoming leading markets for our expertise and solutions. Projects are also being pursued internationally in East Africa, the Middle East and the Baltics with a new office already operational in Nairobi, Kenya.
Siemens, ENVA, Powerday PLC, Maxol oils and Farrans Construction are just some of the companies ATG have completed major projects for. In addition to major contracting projects, ATG is involved heavily in the consultancy aspect of the contamination and remediation sector. Recently, our MD, Dr Mark McKinney provided expert witness services for the largest asbestos prosecution case in the UK, showcasing ATG’s expertise and knowledge of the industry.
