Dr. Mark McKinney: (Managing Director)
Mark has 20 years experience in the remediation industry and was Managing Director of Alpha Environmental Systems Ltd from 1993 to 2005. During that time Mark led the management team in developing Alpha from start up in 1993 to a turnover of £5M in 2005, building a good reputation within the industry and maintaining healthy profit margins. On leaving Alpha in 2005 Mark set up ATG Services Ltd and has grown ATG from start up to a turnover of £1M in 4 years. Mark has extensive experience in the remediation industry having been involved in numerous site investigations and remediation projects throughout Ireland and UK. Having a PhD. in Microbiology, Mark is one of the leading authorities on site remediation techniques in Ireland and has developed several innovative methods for the treatment of hydrocarbon impacted sites, as well as having experience in the use of many of the recognised remedial technologies. Mark has also gained a COTC NVQ Level 4 in the management of Hazardous Waste Remediation.
Peter Finch: (Director of Technical Services)
Peter’s background has for the most part been construction based, he has successfully project managed several medium to large developments across Ireland and always stayed within budget and met completion deadlines. He also provided sound management of contracts during his role as Regional Contracts Manager for a major facilities management company. Peter is currently Technical Director for ATG group which again involves project management, environmental product sales support and spill response for domestic, industrial and marine incidents. Peter has qualified as an Incident Controller through the Maritime and Coastguard Agency’s oil spill response course (level 5).
Jacqui McKinney: (Administrative Director)
Jacqui has over 30 years experience in administration working in both the security and environmental sectors, as PA to the Managing Director of a variety of businesses. She has now come on-board as a Director in ATG and is in charge of the administration team, which includes Katrina Ross (Office Manager), and Caroline Williamson (Accounts).
Micheal O’Sullivan: (Technical Projects Manager)
Graduating with a BSc.(Hons) in Environmental Science, Michael has gained four years of experience in the chemical and environmental industries. As the Technical Projects Manager his role encompasses undertaking site investigation, remediation design, site engineering and project management of a wide range of soil and groundwater treatment technologies. He is experienced in dealing with both in-situ and ex-situ remediation technologies, ranging from large, multiphase jobs for construction clients, to corporate risk management and commercial and domestic insurance sector work. Micheal also heads up the team responsible for undertaking Prelimiary Risk Assessments (PRA), General Quantitative Risk Assessments (GQRA), Detailed Quantitative Risk Assessments (DQRA), and Remedial Action Plans (RAP).
David Graham: (Commercial Manager)
David has joined the company after several years in a senior position within the construction industry. After gaining considerable commercial experience from ten years spent in a large financial institution, he went on to lead and develop a national sales team for a multi-national organisation. David brings a wealth of business acumen to the group and has cultivated links with industry and government at the highest level. Client driven, he seeks to promote our services and by co-ordinating the skills available within the group, provide an exemplar solution each time, every time. David is responsible for the continued growth of the ATG Group by forming new business partners and finding and expanding new markets for the company.
